Privacy policy
Four Quarters (fourquarters.uk) is an independent website run by a sole trader in the United Kingdom. This page explains what data is collected when you use the site and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Nothing you type into the checker. The "Do I need MTD?" calculator runs in your browser. The figures you enter are never sent to us or stored.
- Basic server logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
- Emails you send us. If you email hello@fourquarters.uk, we keep your message and email address only as long as needed to reply.
Cookies
This site does not set its own cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools that use cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Affiliate links
Some links to software providers are affiliate links. When you click one, the provider or its affiliate network (for example Impact, PartnerStack or FlexOffers) may set a cookie so it can tell us you came from our site if you sign up. That cookie is set by them, not us, and is covered by their privacy policy. We never see your name, payment details or account information.
Other services
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them. Links to GOV.UK and other sites take you to pages we don't control.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Email hello@fourquarters.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
